Turning from the door without disturbing them, AJ sees Justus was watching too.

''I'm going to have a baby brother or sister?
Keesha beckoned her daughter closer and lifted her up on the edge of the bed. “That’s right, angel. Kristina and daddy AJ are going to have a baby, so you’ll have a brother or sister…”What happens next?
Mary knew that babies hid inside their mommies’ bellies until they’re ready to be born. She scooted closer to Kristina and suddenly nestled her head onto Kristina’s stomach.
Kristina was startled by her actions at first then smiled as Mary lifted her head and gave Kristina a puzzled look.
“I don’t hear anyone in there,” Mary announced.
Keesha laughed and met Kristina’s amused gaze as she spoke. “Well, we won’t be able to hear the baby until it’s born, sweetheart.”
Mary touched Kristina’s belly. “Can it hear me?”
Kristina smiled at the girl. “You can give it a try.”
Pressing her face close to Kristina’s stomach, Mary whispered, “I'm Mary, your sister. You’ll like it here, there’s lots of room for our big family and our daddy is nice – not like my other daddy…”
Keesha’s eyes filled with tears and Kristina reached out and took her hand, giving it a comforting squeeze. Keesha smiled and wiped away the tears.
From the doorway, AJ watches them.
